Dr. Mikinski has advanced training in Couples Therapy, Family Therapy, Child-centered Play Therapy, Integrative Mental Health, Treating Affairs and Trauma, Couples and Addiction Recovery, plus EMDR-modalities.
Licensed in Kansas, Missouri, Michigan, and available to provide tele-psychology in PsyPact states, Dr. Mikinski adapts her approach to best meet each Client’s unique needs.
Throughout her career, Dr. Mikinski has served as a therapist for college students (offering expertise in treating both test and performance anxiety), she has been an instructor / mentor for Master’s and Doctoral students in Counseling and Psychology, and she has provided psychological evaluations for Ministerial candidates. In 2022, Dr. Mikinski was awarded the Bob and Kathie Taylor Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Dr. Mikinski maintains a vibrant clinical practice at Sastun Associates and regularly provides Clinical Training + Couples Workshops.
